Peel and Stick Wallpaper? Honest answers to the questions you're actually asking! P.S. Watch the video below to see the wallpaper in action.

I'm going to be straight with you because I think you deserve a real answer before you spend any money.

Peel and stick wallpaper gets a bad reputation sometimes. And honestly, some of it is earned — because not all peel and stick is created equal. So let me tell you exactly what ours does, what it doesn't do, and how to know if it's right for your space. Our peel and stick wallpaper is thick, durable, high quality and it has excellent tack. It will last years if you want it to.

So does it actually stay up? Yes. But First Take a Good Look at Your Walls.

Peel and stick wallpaper loves a clean, mostly smooth, properly prepared wall. If your walls are freshly painted, give them at least 30 days to fully cure before applying. If your walls are textured, bumpy, or unpainted drywall, any peel and stick is going to struggle and I'd rather tell you that now than have you frustrated later. A very lightly textured wall can work, but the smoother the better. It's best to try a sample.

Our peel and stick wallpaper is thick, durable and it has excellent tack. It will stay where you put it as long as your walls are the right kind.

On a good wall? It stays up beautifully. For years.

Will it damage my walls when I take it off? This is the big one. And the honest answer is: most likely not, but it depends on your walls.

On properly primed and painted walls (cured longer than 30 days) it typically comes off cleanly. On walls with old, flaking paint or cheap flat paint it can sometimes pull. My best advice, if it's being stubborn, is to peel slowly, at a low angle, and warm the panel slightly with a hair dryer. I have never had to do this, however.

I wouldn't sell something I wasn't confident in. But I also won't pretend walls are all the same. I have installed this product many times and each time I am wowed by the quality, durability and ease of installation and removal.

Is it easy to install?

Genuinely yes! No paste, no water, no special tools. Just peel, stick, and smooth. Most people are surprised by how manageable it is the first time.

The panels are constructed to allow for a slight overlap - you'll be able to match the pattern easily when you are putting up the second panel. Detailed instructions are included with each order.

Our panels are pre-measured which means you're not buying a giant roll and guessing. You get exactly what you need for your space, which saves money and a lot of headache.

More FAQ's About Peel and Stick Wallpaper

Things people as all the time, answered honestly.

Can I reposition it after I stick it?

Yes, and this is one of my favorite things about peel and stick. If you put a panel up and it's slightly off, you can peel it back and reposition it without it losing its stick. If you need to remove the wallpaper but wish to use it again in a different setting, save the original backing and reattach it. Roll up, store in a cool dry place and use it again when you are ready.

How long will it last on my walls?

With proper wall prep and a good surface it can last for years. It's not a temporary solution unless you want it to be. A lot of my customers put it up with zero intention of ever taking it down.

Can I use it in a bathroom or kitchen?

It can handle some humidity but it's not completely waterproof. A powder room with good ventilation is usually fine. A steamy shower wall is not the right application. When in doubt, ask us.

What if I hate it once it's up?

Honestly this is rare. Most people love it more in person than they expected. But if something feels off, start with one panel, step back, live with it for a few days, and then decide. That's what samples and single panels are for.

Do you ship fast?

Yes. Quick turnaround is something we take seriously. You'll get a shipping confirmation once your order is in production and on its way.
